What the source said
Join us for Turtle Talk, a welcoming space to connect with Native and Indigenous faculty, staff, students, and community members. Rooted in the shared understanding that we are all from Turtle Island, this gathering offers an opportunity to build meaningful relationships, find support, and strengthen community while navigating both personal and academic journeys. Whether you're seeking mentorship, cultural connection, or professional guidance, Turtle Talk creates space for conversation, learning, and growth. Come share your experiences, expand your network, and connect with people who are invested in your success—both on campus and beyond. In this first meeting, we will kick-off Native Student Spotlight, a campus-wide initiative celebrating the achievements, leadership, and contributions of Native and Indigenous students. Participants will have professional photos taken to be featured across campus, increasing visibility and recognizing the vital role Native students play in enriching our university community. Be part of this powerful celebration of representation, community, and Indigenous pride. All students are welcome.
