What the source said
Explore a display of approximately 70 Indigenous-authored illustrated books and a roundtable examining their value as cultural artifacts for teaching and learning. Faculty and doctoral students from the School of Education and Department of Spanish and Portuguese will discuss selected books and consider how they can be used in higher education, including pre-service teacher education and Spanish language instruction. Attendees will be invited to join the conversation about how these materials can connect language learning with Indigenous cultures and transcultural perspectives. Light refreshements will be available.
