The Construction Safety Research Alliance (CSRA) to host 2026 CSRA Safety Summit, bringing industry leaders together to advance the prevention of serious injuries and fatalities. BOULDER, Colorado. The Construction Safety Research Alliance (CSRA) at the University of Colorado Boulder will host the 2026 CSRA Safety Summit on November 4- 5, 2026, bringing together construction leaders, researchers, and safety professionals to unveil the latest evidence-based research and research products designed to help prevent serious injuries and fatalities (SIFs). Held annually, the Summit serves as the premier gathering for showcasing the outcomes of the CSRA's collaborative research strategy. This year's event is expected to bring together over 145 organizations and more than 400 attendees representing contractors, owners, government agencies, and academic institutions. Unlike traditional conferences, every research project presented at the Summit is conducted in direct partnership with CSRA member companies. Researchers and industry collaborators present together, unveiling newly completed studies alongside the tools, frameworks, guidance documents, and other research products developed through the collaboration. "Preventing serious injuries and fatalities is a challenge no single organization can solve alone," said Dr. Matthew Hallowell, Executive Director of the Construction Safety Research Alliance. "The CSRA Safety Summit demonstrates what is possible when industry and academia work together to generate rigorous research and openly share the results for the benefit of the entire profession." The CSRA's research, including what is shared during the Summit, is made openly available to the industry. While in-person attendance is by invitation only, the live virtual broadcast is free and open to anyone interested in advancing construction safety. Registration for the complimentary virtual livestream is now open. Visit our Events page to register.
