Planning for Reproducible and Open Research

Where
Never published
The feed that carries this event publishes a title and a date and no location. The event is real and is held; we simply do not know where it happens, which is a different thing from it happening nowhere.
Tickets
No on-sale date recorded
This event came from a public calendar feed. Calendar feeds publish when a show happens, not when its tickets go on sale — so this is genuinely unknown rather than zero, and rather than “already on sale”.
What the source said
This workshop surveys a variety of planning documents that can be incorporated into research projects with the goal of increasing transparency and reproducibility. Examples of plan types covered include protocols, pre-registrations, pre-analysis plans, registered reports, and data management plans. In addition to discussing the features of such plans and the rationale for different plan types, we also cover practical tools and platforms (such as the Open Science Foundation and DMPTool) that can help create and publish important planning documents. All are welcome; the workshop does not presuppose any prior knowledge or experience.
