Hosted at the Limelight Hotel Boulder, ENCORE! promises to be one of the most entertaining and meaningful nights of the year. Part gala, part concert, and part community celebration, the evening begins with a lively cocktail reception accompanied by one of the Boulder Philharmonic’s acclaimed string quartets performing fresh arrangements of contemporary favorites – the perfect prelude to a night honoring the music that has shaped Boulder for generations. VIP guests will enjoy exclusive early access beginning at 5:30 p.m., along with premium seating for the evening’s program, custom DAR Art chocolate bars, and one-of-a-kind tintype keepsake photographs. General admission doors open at 6:00 p.m. Guests will then enjoy a seated dinner and an unforgettable program featuring the newly formed Boulder Allstar Band, with an extraordinary lineup of local musicians: Robert Johnson – Vocals Mark Diamond – Upright Bass John Gunther – Woodwinds Victor Mestas – Keyboard Paul Romaine – Percussion Special guest performances will feature David Fulker on trumpet and MaryLynn Gillaspie on vocals. The evening will also honor three outstanding leaders during our Annual Community Impact Awards presentation: Community Foundation Boulder County, accepted by President and CEO Tatiana Hernandez Michael Butterman, longtime Music Director of the Boulder Philharmonic Nick and Helen Forster, founders of eTown Guests will also enjoy the premiere of a short film produced by John Mans, exploring Boulder’s rich and often surprising musical history – from legendary venues and beloved local artists to the creative spirit that continues to shape the city’s vibrant cultural landscape today. Following the formal program, the celebration continues with an energetic after-party featuring DJ Musa Starseed, giving guests the opportunity to dance, connect, and celebrate late into the evening.
