What the source said

CU Boulder’s Musical Theatre students bring fresh energy to the unforgettable pop sound of the 1970s in an intimate, cabaret-style revue inspired by venues like New York’s legendary 54 Below. This one-act performance features songs by Burt Bacharach, the Carpenters, Carole King and other favorite artists. With minimal choreography, sets and costumes, the focus stays on the music and storytelling, creating a warm, easygoing showcase of student talent and timeless songwriting. Since 2019, the College of Music is proud to present a Bachelor of Music in Musical Theatre degree. Students of the CU Boulder College of Music Musical Theatre program perform golden-age mainstays, contemporary Broadway hits, cabaret and developing new musicals.
