In this lecture, one of America’s foremost commentators on AI and higher education, Hollis Robbins, addresses the challenges and opportunities facing universities in the twenty-first century. Speaker: Hollis Robbins is a Professor of English at the University of Utah, where she was previously the Dean of the College of Humanities. She was Dean of Arts & Humanities at Sonoma State University from 2018 to 2022. She is a specialist in American and African American literature and, for two decades, has served as the Co-Director/Managing Editor of Harvard University’s Black Periodical Literature Project. She received her BA from Johns Hopkins University, an MPP from Harvard University, an MA from the University of Colorado Boulder, and a PhD from Princeton University. She writes the newsletter Anecdotal Value.
